The Revenue You're Losing to "Quick Extras"

Unbilled Extra Services

A client asks for a quick extra. You do it — but without tracking, it can go unbilled or undocumented. Swept makes it simple to capture every request, guide cleaners, and ensure you get paid for every job.

Cleaners Left Guessing

‘Clean the back room’ can mean different things to different people. Swept ensures every cleaner knows exactly what to do, so clients get consistent results the first time.

Billing Confusion

Sometimes clients forget approvals, leaving you negotiating—or covering costs yourself. With Swept, every job is documented, so you can confidently reference what was approved and completed — no arguing required.

Lost in the Schedule

One-off jobs can get lost when squeezed into the regular schedule. Was it completed? Who did it? How long did it take? Swept separates extra work from recurring tasks, giving you real-time visibility and full control over every job.

Turn Every Client Request Into Tracked, Billable Work

Swept gives you a system for everything outside your recurring contracts.

Create a work order in seconds, assign cleaners with clear instructions, track it to completion, and download professional PDF reports you can share with clients.

No more side favors. No more “I think we did that.”

Common Questions About Work Orders

What's the difference between a work order and a regular shift?
Work orders handle one-off requests outside recurring contracts—like extra floor stripping or window cleaning. They have separate billing, instructions, and reporting. Recurring shifts are your regular contracted services.
Can my cleaners see work order instructions on their phones?
Yes. When assigned, cleaners see the Client Work Summary on their mobile app at clock-in, right alongside their regular schedule. No confusion, no follow-up texts.
How does billing work for work orders?
You choose: hourly (rate × hours) or a flat fee. Use scheduled hours, actual logged hours, or enter a custom amount. Swept calculates the billable total automatically.
Can I send documentation to my clients?
Absolutely. Download any work order as a one-click PDF—including location, work summary, assigned cleaners, hours, and billing. Professional, ready-to-send documentation every time.
What if a work order gets cancelled?
Mark it as Invalid. This removes it from cleaner schedules, sends notifications, and excludes it from billing totals. You can validate it again later if needed.
Who can create and manage work orders?
Managers and Supervisors on the Scale and Loyalty plans can create and manage work orders from the Swept web app.
