How Pure Commercial Cleaning centralized everything into one app — and made texts matter again
Checklists and supply requests used to arrive as scattered texts. Founder Isabel Baker wanted one system for all of it — and found her catalyst in centralized supply ordering.

Working in the business instead of on it
Isabel Baker started Pure Commercial Cleaning about three years ago with a clear thesis: plenty of companies chase the money over the quality, the clients, and the employees — so stay local, stay independent, and out-serve them all.
The operation ran on an inexpensive clock-in/clock-out platform, and that part worked. But checklists and supply ordering happened over text — this person texting here, that person texting there. “So disoriented,” in her words. In a service-based industry, she knew, you have to centralize your systems as much as possible to give yourself more time and freedom.
The supply request that sold the whole system
The catalyst was seeing that Swept could centralize supply ordering across all her locations: requests come in through the app, she buys, she checks them off. Even though Swept cost more than the old clock-in app, that alone made it worth it — one less routine text from an employee.
Then she fell in love with the rest: security information, checklists, inspections. There’s a lot to the app, but all of it lives in one place — one app on the team’s phones, one website on her computer.
I love getting texts from them, but I want the text to be important — not ‘hey, we’re out of soap.’ That could be centralized.

Texts that matter, systems that scale with her
Routine requests now route through the system — so when a text does reach Isabel, it’s important. That was the whole point of centralizing: more time, more freedom, and a business she can work on instead of in.
